O.B. Montessori Center (OBMC) celebrated its employees’ significant milestones and achievements in its annual Service Awards Ceremony last November 18, 2023, at the Maria Montessori Hall, OBMC Greenhills. Their contributions, big and small, have inspired the community to strive for excellence while upholding the Montessori principles.

The students from the five campuses of O.B. Montessori Center (OBMC) participated in the first General Assembly of the Youth Empowerment Seminars for the West Philippine Sea and Other Maritime Security Challenges (#YESWPS). Organized by the Philippine Navy (PN), this event carried the theme, “The Youth: An Indispensable Partner for Maritime Security and Development.“

O.B. Montessori Center’s Agriculture faculty and staff learned the ropes of a new urban gardening technique in a seminar entitled “Microgreen Production and Hydroponics” last September 22, 2023, at OBMC Greenhills. 

O.B. Montessori Center joined hands with environmental warriors in the launching of a Build-A-Reef for Future Generations program. This took place last September 12, 2023, at the Marine Base Gregorio Lim in Ternate, Cavite. The program is a joint undertaking with the Philippine Marines, the Philippine Coast Guard, PCG Auxiliary, ICC Philippines, UST ROTC Alumni Association, Rotary Club of Marikina North, and the LGU of Cavite.

O.B. Montessori Center is upbeat for the new academic year and to welcome the students back on campus. The school spent the entire summer preparing its environment and training the new teachers.

O.B. Montessori Center (OBMC) President Sara Soliven-De Guzman, along with NewGen Peacebuilders (NGP) Executive Director Patricia Shafer and Rotary International Director Peter Kyle (2020–2021 for Zone 33–34), gave a presentation in a breakout session entitled, “Build Peace. Lead Peace.” during the Rotary International (RI) Convention in Melbourne, Australia, last May 30, 2023.
