O.B. Montessori Center (OBMC) is a Meralco Biz Luminary 2023 for its proactive effort towards sustainability and a cleaner energy future. OBMC President Sara Soliven-De Guzman accepted the Luminaries Award on behalf of the school last March 7, 2024, at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Taguig City.

The Senior High School Intercampus Debate 2024 of O.B. Montessori Center (OBMC) concluded last May 3, 2024, with the Final Round taking place at the Teatro Preciosa, Fairview Campus.

Operation Brotherhood Community Foundation (OBCF) in partnership with the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and Bloomberry Foundation inaugurated the fifth Pagsasarili Family Care Center in Barangay San Vicente, Bamban, Tarlac, last April 16, 2024.

The 6th CineSophia Short Film Festival of O.B. Montessori Center (OBMC) concluded last April 8, 2024, with the viewing of entries and the awarding ceremony for the outstanding 10-minute films produced by the Grade 12 students across the five campuses.

Selected Citizen’s Army Training (CAT) students with some OBMC personnel were invited by the Philippine Coast Guard to tour the BRP Teresa Magbanua (MRRV 9701) and BRP Gabriela Silang (OPV 8301) at their National Headquarters, Pier 13, Manila, last February 29, 2024. The tour was PCG’s way of expressing gratitude for OBMC’s continuous support of the Bayanihan sa Karagatan program.

All Grade 12 students of O.B. Montessori Center (OBMC) attended a workshop series with film industry experts to help prepare them for the 6th CineSophia Short Film Festival. This annual April event exhibits films using applied philosophical theories on contemporary social issues. 

O.B. Montessori Center’s Agriculture faculty and staff learned the ropes of a new urban gardening technique in a seminar entitled “Microgreen Production and Hydroponics” last September 22, 2023, at OBMC Greenhills. 

O.B. Montessori Center (OBMC) celebrated its employees’ significant milestones and achievements in its annual Service Awards Ceremony last November 18, 2023, at the Maria Montessori Hall, OBMC Greenhills. Their contributions, big and small, have inspired the community to strive for excellence while upholding the Montessori principles.

The students from the five campuses of O.B. Montessori Center (OBMC) participated in the first General Assembly of the Youth Empowerment Seminars for the West Philippine Sea and Other Maritime Security Challenges (#YESWPS). Organized by the Philippine Navy (PN), this event carried the theme, “The Youth: An Indispensable Partner for Maritime Security and Development.“

O.B. Montessori Center joined hands with environmental warriors in the launching of a Build-A-Reef for Future Generations program. This took place last September 12, 2023, at the Marine Base Gregorio Lim in Ternate, Cavite. The program is a joint undertaking with the Philippine Marines, the Philippine Coast Guard, PCG Auxiliary, ICC Philippines, UST ROTC Alumni Association, Rotary Club of Marikina North, and the LGU of Cavite.
