Moreover, O.B. Montessori Center has offered its campus in Sta. Ana, Manila, to serve as the secondary logistics hub of the PCG Task Force Kalinga where accumulated donations from various humanitarian organizations, private sectors, government agencies are prepared for immediate transport to recovering communities.

“We extend our sincere gratitude to O.B. Montessori for supporting our efforts to serve those who are in need. Together with our PCGA volunteers and private sector partners, we will continue to utilize our assets and deploy our personnel toward the full rehabilitation of our ‘kababayans’ in MiMaRoPa, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, and Caraga,” the Coast Guard Commandant assured.

As of 24 January 2022, the PCG vessels and air assets have transported a total of 1,718.5 tons of relief goods.

Furthermore, PCGA aircraft and private vessels that are part of the said mission have ferried 1,059.6 of supplies, bringing the tally to 2,778.1 tons of transported relief goods and critical supplies to support the rehabilitation of the affected families of Typhoon Odette (Rai) since 19 December 2021.

As per the directive of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the PCG Task Force Kalinga continues to utilize available assets and resources to help in the recovery of typhoon-stricken regions in the country.
