Cheng is a Grade 2 student of the Greenhills campus, who won a bronze medal in the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad Heat. This competition was held last December 11, 2022.

The TIMO is an annual competition organized by the Thailand Mathematical Society. Here, K to 12 students of different nationalities participate in two qualifying events in order to proceed to the World International Mathematical Olympiad.

This win qualifies Caleigh to join the final round going to the World Mathematical Olympiad.

Bacordo is another student of OBMC Greenhills, who is currently in Grade 8. She received the First Prize in the Philippine Young Author Awards last August 6, 2022.

The Young Author Awards is part of Janu Education's efforts to recognize young authors for their amazing literary works. Their aim is to build the next generation of thinkers and writers by providing them with tools to create their stories.

Barcodo's story, “Tender Mercies,” earned her a spot as one of the 30 finalists out of almost 300 writers from the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore on October 31, 2022.

As one of the finalists, her short story is now published in Singapore under Experiences and Experiments Books Pte. Ltd. and available for online order at the Janus Education Singapore website.

O.B. Montessori is proud of our two young student achievers, and we wish them well as they continue earning more accolades for themselves, making an impact on both the Philippines and the world stage.
