Eclectic Wayfarers of OBMC Angeles Campus bags first place in the JA TTBiz 2017 competition

Out of 17 teams from different esteemed schools representing different countries, the Eclectic Wayfarers emerged as the champion in the recently concluded JA TTBiz (Junior Achievement Travel and Tourism Business Program) international competition last January 21, 2018.

A team of talented and hardworking grade 9 students, Paulo Joshua F. Pangan, Nicole D. Dela Cruz and Maricris Louise R. Fernandez from OBMC Angeles campus worked together under the guidance of their coach, Mrs. Jingle B. Santos. The team is also composed of students from Yatsushiro High School (Japan) and Nanyang Polytechnic (Singapore).

JA TTBiz in partnership with Accenture Japan is an educational program for high school students to become global talents. In this program, students from Japan and partner countries (Korea, Singapore and Philippines) make teams to establish a travel plan strategy. The students started in the competition last August 6, 2017 at Accenture Philippines Cybergate 2, Mandaluyong City and completed it within 6 months. The winners were awarded an all-expense paid trip to Japan
