  • PROFESSIONAL HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM

    The third stage of development from 12-18 years old is the adolescent stage. This is the period when emotion, no longer intelligence, becomes operational in his preparation for adult responsibility. It is characterized by great physical, emotional, psychological and social transformation. Self-consciousness is heightened and requires the performing arts, sports and para-military training to transform timidity to self-confidence.

  • The Professional High School Program is divided into two (2) levels:

    Junior High School – corresponds to Grade 7-10. This level consists of students aged 12.0 – 16.6 years old.

    Senior High School – corresponds to Grade 11-12. This level consists of students aged 16.0 – 18.6 years old.

    High School Curriculum

    The Junior High School curriculum has four (4) core subjects: Communication Arts, Science and Technology, Mathematics and Social Studies (Araling Panlipunan). It also provides special training in entrepreneurship, leadership and citizenship.

    The Senior High School curriculum integrates key subjects from the different strands: Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM); General Academic; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS). This allows the students more flexibility in exploring career options as they move up to tertiary level.

  • Computer Education– equips the students with the relevant computer skills needed for the tertiary level and provides them with the basic technical skills in application development.

  • Science and Technology– provides students with opportunities to focus on the processes and issues of science: the study of life, the laws and structure of the universe and the work of scientists. Science concepts are integrated through laboratory experiences designed to promote and develop appropriate skills in science inquiry.

  • Communication Arts – develops articulate expression of thoughts in Filipino and English in both oral and written forms, poise and confidence and mastery of the fundamentals of journalism.

  • Technology and Livelihood Education – provides activities for the development of economic independence through the acquisition of the right competencies to be skillful in: Cooking; Bread and Pastry production; Food and Beverage Service; and Food Processing.

  • Physical Education, Music and Arts – channel the creative energies of students through folk, classical and contemporary music, theater arts and art lessons; physical energies through exercises and activities including folk and classical dances; promotes fitness and wellness, provides safety education and first aid.

  • Law on Persons / Citizenship Advancement Training (CAT) – develops in the students a degree of self-discipline through the Honor Code, and a better sense of understanding of his rights and obligations as a social being.

  • Social Studies – helps the student recognize how different ideas, important historical events and interaction among individuals with their environment contribute to the present state of society and in the process mold them to be informed, confident, and responsible citizens who can effect changes in the Philippines as future leaders.

  • Social Science – uses insights from Anthropology, Political Science and Sociology to develop the students’ awareness on human cultures, society and politics. Discussions on social inclusiveness, overcoming prejudices, and developing social and cultural competencies will guide students to better relate with groups, communities and institutions.
